It's been almost 2 months since the Fashion Africa Conference, but better late than never, right?! In April, I travelled to London (my first time in England) for this informative conference. Freeda and I thought it was important for Kuwala to be there to make connections and hear about advancements in the industry. I had the opportunity to mingle with some very interesting individuals involved in the African fashion industry, as well as attend the engaging panel discussions below:
With the many discussions that were had, I could hear Kuwala's vision being echoed in one variation or another. By the end of the day, it was clear that although we're all working in different facets of the industry, we are all dedicated to building strong ethical foundations for a thriving African fashion industry. I left the conference feeling inspired by other people's business visions and motivated to use their learned lessons to grow Kuwala.
Thanks Jacqueline and Africa Fashion Guide for organizing such a needed conference, we're looking forward to next year's conference!
