Last February, we sponsored the sold-out event 'The Politics of Black Hair.' The lively panel discussion, organized by London Ivy Products, is back once again with the focus on "hair envy."

This event series is meant to "begin a deeper dialogue amongst our community, beyond the natural vs relaxed debate... [and] is intended to create a space where we can discuss the social, economic, historical, and environmental factors concerning Black Hair." This time around the panel consists of:
- Chary-Jay, Detroit vlogger/ Natural hair enthusiast
- Sophia Murphy, Co-owner of Roots To Curls
- Samantha Gomez, Vlogger of My Kinky Curls
- DJ Lissa Monet, Award winning Celebrity DJ
- Natural Neiicey, Toronto vlogger/Natural hair enthusiast
- Dwayne Morgan, Writer/Poet/Speaker
Those with VIP tickets and the first 30 people to arrive will receive a premium gift bag! There are prizes to be won from the sponsored giveaways to raffles. Light refreshments will be served and special event cocktails will be available for purchase. This is a great event to network, meet and greet, as well as shop from diverse vendors, like Kuwala! A portion of proceeds will be going to towards the Power to Girls Foundation.
